Series 2 Episode 1 is Officially Wrapped!

Debbie Moon’s fantastic opening episode of series 2, “Remembrance” is now officially wrapped.

Filmed over 3 days, the opening episode sees Maya Hedges (Ellen Patterson) in a brand new world as she joins the S.P.I.D.E.R.S (SuPernatural IDentification Executive Regiment Scotland), working under cover with wanted werewolf Alexis Smith (Innes Anderson) to ensure the S.P.I.D.E.R.S don’t start an war with the supernatural community. However could Maya feel out of her depth when paired with her “buddy” Private Colin Bissett (Stephen Purdon) on their first case to a reported zombie sighting in human only zone 1?

The edit will begin shortly and we’ll share behind the scenes photos from the day, cast interviews, behind the scenes footage and a brand new teaser to whet your appetites for series 2.

The Kickstarter campaign to shoot episode 2 will officially launch on the 1st of August at this link or you can join us on Patreon as we attempt to raise all funds needed to shoot episodes 2-6 this year.

Day 1 Photos

Sonja Bleitschau has sent her the photos she took while filming scenes for Cops and Monsters: Uprising on Sunday.

We’ve made a selection available on our Patreon page for you to own as 6 x 4 prints, and in return will help us raise funds to shoot episodes 2-6 this year.

We’re back on set this weekend and so more photos will be made available 🙂

Cops and Monsters: Series 2 Begins Filming

Yesterday we officially started filming Cops and Monsters: Uprising!

Billy Kirkwood, Ellen Patterson and Innes Anderson were joined by newcomer Louise McMenemy as we filmed scenes from episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 in one location to get filming underway!

The crew were joined by some new faces and we even managed to wrap early!

Our official on set photography, Sonja Blietschau will be sending us her on set photos and we’ll be sharing them here, on our Kickstarter campaigns and on our Patreon account!

Filming resumes this weekend with episode 1 being wrapped and sent off to be edited, while we begin the fundraising to shoot episode 2, and hopefully more!

If you’d like to be a part of the Cops and Monsters Omniverse then you can join us as an Official Patreon, pledging any amount each month, with all the funds going to shoot the last 5 episodes of series 2. Head to this link to find out more.

San Diego and Patreon

One day we hope to be able to attend the San Diego Comic Con in some capacity in order to promote the show to the hundreds of thousands of people who attend yearly, but alas, it will not be this year.

Instead we’ll be on location filming Debbie Moon’s opening episode of series 2, “Remembrance”, and some scenes from the other 5 scripts.

We do however intend to publish some new promotional stills, behind the scenes interviews… and perhaps a clip or two!

The majority of these will appear on this website, our Twitter and Facebook page.

Some of the material will be saved and shared on our new Patreon page. Patreon is a sort of crowdfunding site, where fans of your product, in our case, our webseries, can become a patron and donate a chosen amount of money each month. These funds go towards a goal – again in our case we’ve set it for $5,000 per episode – which will allow us to hopefully fund the remaining episodes of series 2. And maybe beyond…
