We’ll soon be casting for our next episode, “Trapped”, which will be shooting in Glasgow on the 22nd of April, with rehearsals on the 15th of April.
If you are an actress with a playing range between 20 and 40 with stage combat experience please e-mail your CV, headshot and showreel to castings@sillyweefilms.co.uk.
We will only be considering actresses from Scotland or those who have a base in Glasgow due to our budget restraints.
We will more than likely short-list potential candidates for the role and hold auditions in Glasgow in March.
This position will pay national minimum wage.
Thank you!

Simon Weir, who plays Commander Norris Fletcher in Volume 1 of our show, appears in the new Danny Boyle film, “Trainspotting 2”.
Read all about it in Simon’s own blog at this link.
Our behind the scenes look at our latest episode, “Revolution in a Teacup“, is now available to watch above.
Thank you to Simon Scrivener for providing us with original music for the video.

With 6 episodes currently released, and our 7th in post-production, we have been receiving quite a few messages about Volume 2, and in particular, when are we going to be casting for it.
At the moment we still have 2 more episodes for Volume 1 to crowdfund, shoot and release. The first of which will be funded (we hope!) between February 6th and March 6th and will then be shot on the 22nd of April. We hope to crowdfund the final episode of Volume 1 between April and May, shooting the final episode in May.
Our Volume 2 plans aren’t concrete and we are in prep to hold story-lining sessions with established TV writers and plan what the second volume will consist of. From there we will figure out the budget for each episode, who the characters are going to be and then try to raise the money. Only then can we start casting for the new episodes.
So at the very earliest you’ll hear about casting opportunities will be this Summer. If this changes we’ll post about it here, on our Twitter page and Facebook page.
This is very much the case for writers on the show too. Until we have the opportunity to story-line, plan how many episodes there are going to be and when we might shoot them, we can’t commit to any new writers. However if you’d like to submit an original spec script (i.e not a Cops and Monsters-related script) for consideration please contact us at this address.
A second Volume will not be possible if we don’t complete Volume 1 and if we don’t raise enough money to do so. If you want to help make this happen then be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and share it with everybody you can and come February 6th check out our crowdfunding campaign and let everybody know about that too.
Thank you to everybody for their kind, brilliant support so far. We honestly wouldn’t have a show without you.

Thank you to Gillian Loney at Glasgow Live for interviewing our showrunner Fraser Coull and helping us spread the word of our show! You can read the article by clicking here!

Episode 6, “Fight the Bite”, by Laura Anderson, is currently being edited and we will let you know when the episode is going to be released!
We are in pre-production of our final Volume 1 episodes, which we hope to crowdfund early this year to shoot in the first half of 2017.

First up will be “Trapped”, a minisode that takes place immediately after “Fight the Bite”, and will see the return of Scottish actress Katrina Bryan as the kind, caring werewolf Jenny Connor.
And finally there will be episode 7, “Inhuman Nature” (title to be confirmed) where everything we’ve built up from our first episode will come to a head as Maya Hedges reaches Martin Carmichael and faces off against The Cult of Many Faces and powerful werewolf assassin Alexis.
Following this we hope to storyline a 2nd volume, bringing some new writers on board before we start the process of funding each new episode and filming them. We have no timescale for this but as we have news we’ll release it here.

We’ll be at Coventry Comic Con on October the 1st with some cast and crew. If we’re lucky Sophie Aldred, who plays Lady Audrey MacDairmid in our most recent episode, will be joining us on our panel.
And that’s our news so for January!

Our episodes are now available on Italian platform “GOOFIE” with the two latest episodes set to premiere later this year.
We’ll also be broadcast on SPARKKTV with our first episode premiering on January 12th at 8pm.
“Fight the Bite”, our next episode to be released, is currently in post-production.
We’ve been asked to attend at the Coventry Comic Con this October to promote the show!
As well as a 30 minute panel where we will be screening clips from our show and taking your questions, we’ll be at the stalls all day handing out fliers and selling merchandise.
Sophie Aldred who plays Lady Audrey MacDairmid in our show, will also be appearing.
We’ll announce more appearances as they are confirmed!
